A compact portable grey Halberg Junior 1952 typewriter with a QWERTY key layout. This machine was made by HALBERG NV in Holland and is still fully functional. Halberg NV has only produced typewriters for three years (1952-1954) in small numbers, making this one of the rarest postwar typewriters in the world. This particular Halberg typewriter was one of the first to be produced as it has serial number 01912 and shows some minor differences to later produced machines. There is a yellow dealer mark on the left side of the machine which reads: Kaptino, Leliegracht 24, Tel. 46922, Amsterdam.
