A rat rod among typewriters, this 1937 greenish blue compact Olympia Simplex model 6. The typewriter has clear signs of wear and age, a beautiful distressed look. Yet this typewriter functions like it did almost 80 years ago. Somewhere in his childhood this typewriter was painted from a black to a dark greenish blue color, you can still see the relief of its original simplex logo underneath the paint. The dealer sticker on the top left of the machine reads: "Kantoormachinehandel WILSON Utrechtsestraat 133 Amsterdam . c - TEL. 238395". The keys have Dutch wording on them, shift is marked as 'wisseltoets' backspace is marked as 'terugsteltoets' and de caps lock key is marked 'wissel slot'.

The Olympia Simplex model 6 is in a good working condition, fully functional and comes with a brand new ink-ribbon installed, ready for use.
